  • OIL & GAS

With fast mobilisation and competitive dayrates, our vessels are suitable for many support services to the Oil and Gas industry.

Anchor handling for gas pipelayers, oil jetty maintenance, dive support for pipeline inspections and pull wire laying for pipebundle tow-offs are among the wide ranging jobs we have completed to the satisfaction of our clients.

  • SALVAGE

Delta Marine can provide a versatile vessel for salvage operations. With shallow draft and working bow on, our vessels will get closer to the casualty than conventional craft.

We can assist in the supply and loading of heavy salvage equipment onto a casualty. Internal tankage can be adapted to provide lighterage of casualty bunkers.

With bow and stern winches and utilising offshore anchors (self laid) our vessels can provide constant controlled tension on the casualty of 100t. This can be increased substantially with blocks etc.

  • ANCHOR HANDLING

All Delta Marine’s vessels are highly capable anchor handlers.

The multicat form lends itself very well to the possibility of towage to site of customer’s equipment and then laying of mooring spread, all anchors, wires and cans can be stowed on the fore deck leaving aft clear for towing. This method reduces need for trans-shipment at sea and associated downtime.

With high buoyancy fwd, embedded anchors can be pulled out in a safer manner than with a conventional tug (submerged aft decks). With the propulsion and steering at opposite end from working area, the risk of propeller fouling/rudder damage is minimised. Also a high manoeuvring leverage force is created allowing the vessel to work in stronger tides than conventional vessels.

Delta Marine incorporates safety in all aspects of work. For anchor handling operations we have installed remote deck handling equipment; cranes, winches, shark jaws and guide pins. This means our deck crew need only approach the work site when it is safe to do so.

  • TOWAGE

With type approved towing winches/tow hooks, and large bunker capacity, Delta Marine’s vessels are ideal for costal towing.

  • SEABED WORKS

Delta Marine provides seabed levelling/ploughing services:

    • Using a 60t A-frame, ploughs which will move up to 30 tonnes of material at a sweep can be handled by our vessels.
    • Utilising a DOP pump, vessel crane and split hopper; a self-contained dredge set-up can be provided with dumping of spoil at a remote location.

  • HEAVY LIFTING

All Delta Marine’s vessels are fitted with powerful deck cranes with capacities up to 200t/m (10.5t @ 16m).

A-frames can be fitted to client requirements giving deckable lifts up to 70t.

Deck layout is optimised so that subsea loads of over 100t can be handled.

  • AQUACULTURE

With large deck areas, powerful cranes and winches – Delta Marine’s vessels provide for an ideal tool for aquaculture support.

Feed barges can be towed from manufacturer and assistance in mooring given on arrival at site.

Our vessels have been involved on jobs where we remove fouled nets, strip down the site, inspection, clean all components – as we go, tow cages to new site and re-set all moorings.
